May be one of the toughest questions to answer right now.......I received a batch alive, no cold packs. 90 degrees/ 3 days. My buddy under the same conditions came in dead.Another: 3 days shipping through 90 to 105 temp. with 2 cold packs arrived alive (meal and wax worms) I placed a package out in the sun for a test. It had a test group of meal worms and wax worms in it, along with 2 cold packs.
Test probe inside with outside monitor, and Thermometer out side. Left it out for two full days. Worms were OK after 2 days in 90 to 105 degrees. I expected them to be dead or I would have left it out 1 more day, but they were OK. If I were to test it again I would definitely do at least a 3 day test and go from there. I'm not trying to make this difficult but for me to give you a "they will be OK at ___ to ___ too many things can be a factor. How they are packed....with or without moisture items...travel food source...Sunday set around at a post office...early delivery to post office set around time..... worm health and care....on and on. That's why someone sending worms right now must be prepared for DOA results if guaranteeing them..
Many won't send at this time to certain distances.....................
I can only be helpful to you with GOOD TIPS, if you are the one SENDING and want to request them from me, please let me know.....................take care. HJ
