Yesterday i got a leopard gecko from petsmart i made absolutely sure that he was healthy i even asked them to feed him a cricket, and he ate it. I already had everything set up at my house, so when we got home we put him in his cage. I have a warmside hide, a coolside hide, reptile carpet (they can't get impaction from it), a branch thing i bought at petsmart, a food dish, water dish, humid hide, a heat lamp (infered) and finally a calcium dish. So anyway he fed great yester day 7 mealworms and 2 crickets (i didn't mean to feed him that man mealworms i put them in the dish and didn't think that he would eat them all but he did). So today i tryed to feed him but he didn't do anything.
the cage temp on the warm side is 87-89. Petsmart didn't tell me how old he was, but he looks young and still has his baby stripes.
I might be overreacting about this but tell me what you think.

I wouldnt worry yet my babies do that sometimes it might just not be hungry after eating all those meal worms. you do have a UTH right? you just mentioned the infared light.

Welcome to GF!

In terms of heating, an undertank heater is better than an infrared light as leos require belly heat to digest their food. Optimal floor temperature on the warm side is around 90-92F. Since he had eaten yesterday, its normal that he's still full and not want to eat today. :)
