Should I be worried?

My MSTA female dropped her first egg on 7/15 and still hasn't dropped the second. I can see it still in her but nothing has popped out yet. She is eating fine and acting fine....I'm just worried of her becoming egg bound and dying. She is my favorite of my three and I'd really hate to loose such a beautiful girl. :(

Are you sure what you're seeing is the second egg, or is it the egg of the next clutch? Sometimes there's only 1 egg in the clutch. Keep an eye on her and if you really think the egg you see is as big as the one she laid and if she gets at all lethargic, you should take her to the vet (in my non-vet opinion).

I thought there was always 2 in a clutch and that if one didn't show that was bad?

Two is usual, but some geckos lay 1-egg clutches either sometimes or all the time (a few of mine have done that this season) and there are occasionally even 3-egg clutches
