I think you all are right, plus, it's not the name that makes a business, it's the person :)
Agreed. Our business is actually our names smashed together, so it works kind of well. Plus it's great to get random emails from people that finally got it.

If you want to work on a new logo/site, let me know. Also, it's one thing to have a theme, but thinking to hard and overdoing it is where things become corny/cheesy.

I like the name, although I thought at first that it showing patriotism could cause you some problems (at least I wouldn't even think of using the name 'Spain geckos', not because I hate my country but because the situation here is a bit delicate with patriotism. There are many regions that want independence and people from them will sabotage anything that shows Spanish patriotism). Other than that I like the sound of it :)

change your logo not your name. You want more flare? Design a gecko in USA colors to go on your home page. As for your name, it's simple & I can remember it...that's not an easy task ;)

I actually think her logo looks very professional. Personally, I wouldn't change logo or name. If you put too much "flare" into a logo, it will look unprofessional and amateur.

I picked my name right after 9/11. Patriotism had a LOT to do with my choice :)

Personally I like the name. Considering the country you're dealing it, it gives people a commonality with you. You deal in exotic/foreign animals... right there it brings a little bit of the good ol' US of A to a (and I hate to say it like this) product that is foreignly found. So your name is your image to a point.

Personally what I'd do is find someone with a few adobe programs and has a sense of style to do some graphic design work for you. If I had my resources that I used to before my computer blew up I'd volunteer. :p

I like your banner idea... but what I'd do, is put your name in block lettering and do the colorization of the gecko but incorporate it into the name. Just an idea.

YAY! Go USAGeckos!
