I mean I have picked them a few times but the one gecko I have not only likes to hide a lot he or she does not like to be touched. However don't they need some human contact? I usually just leave them alone. I can pick up though I might get bit, and yea I had both geckos almost a year. So my question is should I now try to keep picking them up and see how it goes, Or just leave both gecko's alone? They like to run and hide. :main_laugh:

They won't bite me if my hand is in the tank but if I try to pick the one gecko up I might get bit. Though for along time I have not really touched them and I clean the tank with paper towels and water, so I don't even remove them when I clean the tanks.

Not only that but I think they might be sick, so would it still be ok to try to pick them up?

Geckos don't "need' human contact.

That being said, the more you handle them, the less they'll mind being handled. It's your call.

If you think your geckos are sick, though, you should really take them to see a vet.

What makes you think they are sick?

Cause I have not seen them eat for days and there is always dead or alive worms in the tank. The orange gecko has been in his shed box for 4 days now.
I tried to feed him a worm and it was moving and he would not eat it. The orange gecko is shedding right now, his whole body and will not eat anything.
I did mist the Gecko and his shed box again last night. I did notice the other gecko ate one worm..I seen him eat it. The temp is usually 80 to 90 though it is kind of dry with the heat where I live...Maybe it's too dry for them but I have no way of checking..I can check the temps though.

Maybe they just not eating much right now, that could be to but I still feel better after they go to the vet and I can make sure they are both not
sick.

yeah, definitely see a vet. Bring a fecal sample, too. It might be something as simple as parasites, which can be cured pretty quickly with medicine.
