For those of you who do reptile shows... What kind of substrate do you use in your gecko display container?

I dont do reptile shows because their are none around here . But I personally would use paper towels or whatever you normally use. If you use sand, even though it looks nicer, you would be sending the wrong message to poetential buyers IMO.

In the displays I use, I use no substrate at all. If you use deli-cups, you can use something like T-Rex Desert Snow.

the nicest ones ive seen are plexiglass, made into a bunch of small squares, kinda like an all plexiglass showcase

i dont take leos to any shows but for bearded dragons we use paper towls in in deli cups. i do the same when shipping the leos.

I like these the best as well. I can actually make some pretty cheap for anyone who is interested (shipping may be a bit though).

Here is what our display at I think Tampa looked like. It was our first show so please excuse my excited "look what we did!" behind the booth. We use pebbles in the acrylics but we make sure to tell anyone this is not what the geckos are to be housed on.

yes, they are fairly easy to make if you know how to use a table saw, and have a little bit of patience. i think ill do a how to on these, so others can make their own. look for that in the next few weeks.

justin, those look great, and if you make them your self, and make a how to, well i think ALOT of people would appriciate it. buying those boxes are soo expensive.

I'm getting custom ones done in purple. I will not be useing anything inside the sections with Leopard Geckos. My Cornsnakes will have Sani-Chips in with them.

Ron Billingsley made these acrylics for us- you can find some of his stuff on Kingsnake- also for anyone attending the Daytona show this year you can pre order them and pick them up there if he is present! That's what we did.
