My grandaughter is ready to by a bigger cage now for her one Leo and would like to see some pics of some of your setups, in other words what all do you place inside your cages besides the typical hides and water dish and such. Since these guys aren't much on climbing, she would like get some ideas on how to make an attractive looking set up.:D

Don't be fooled into thinking they won't climb on things. All of my leos manage to climb up the various pieces in their cages. 2 have fake rock structures that were made for fish tanks. The other tank has 2 half logs that are stacked on top of each other. Some days he's in the bottom cave, other days 2nd level & even on top.

Have her check out the fish tank accessories at a local pet store. Be careful to check the hole sizes on them so the leo doesn't get stuck. I only use ones they can climb through or under. I'm afraid if they climb in, I might not be able to get them out.

Say,
Thanks for the links and the fast replies. I was thinking there was probably a thread like mine already posted somewhere, but I didn't know where to look. Some good ideas in some of those pics. I'll have her look at them and see what she wants to do. Also, i noticed some of the pics had what looks like ceramic tile on the flooring. Wouldn't these have a chance of getting too cold for the Leo during the colder months?:main_huh:

No the tile doesn't get too cold on the warm side, maintained around 90 F, above an undertank heater. They'll usually hang around there more during the winter.
