I could only find a few pictures by searching the forums here, and I was hoping more of you had pics to contribute. I'd like to see both patternless+blizzard (I guess true banana blizzards) and the line bred blizzards with extra yellow coloration. Thanks!

Thanks, but can you guys fill me in on what's what? I mean are the geckos you posted line bred for yellow or homozygous for both patternless and blizzard (if you know)?

Ah sorry 'bout that... The top one in my pic is a regular Blizzard and the bottom is a Banana Blizzard from Prehistoric Pets. PP was the first to do the cross of Blizzard x Patternless so I suspect she is homozygous for both, but won't know until next year. This year I'll be proving the Blizzard side by breeding her to a Mack Snow het Blizzard 50% het Bell. Next year I'll breed her offspring together and to Patternless females. She will be bred to my best High Yellow Blizzard in '08 in hopes of eventually producing orange Blizzards. However, that may be a fruitless effort if she is proven double homo because her color will most likely be from the Patternless genes. Hmmm... Now that I think about it I may wait to breed her in '08 until one of her sons proves her out. AHHHHHH!!!

Here's my pair was brought as Blizzard/patternless but are very, very likely banana blizzard-(line bred) coz blizzard/patternless are very rare in USA so very unlikely to be in the UK.

I am planing to but ontill that day there banana blizzards.Being very yellow doesn't mean any thing i've added a picture of what was beleaved to be a blizzard/patternless by a UK breeder but when it was bred to a patternless it only resulted in 100% normal's het bliz & patty.

This is a banana blizzard called Solero i love this leo stunning owned by a UK breeder i would have put money on this being a blizzard/patternless and would have lost as when bred to a patternless she through out normals het bliz & patty.

Wow Mike that's one crazy patty/blizzard. Usually at that age you can clearly tell if it's a patty or a blizzard. It looks like it could possibly be double homo??

Thanks Ian! I'm really hoping she proves out, but she's not liking the male I've been putting with her. I'm trying my back-up male on her in a few days and I really hope she's receptive...

Mike, not all leos are receptive to breeding at all and will put up a fight... You need to just put the male in a keep him there until he pesters her to the point where she just gives in... Its kinda the same with people...LOL

I agree with Ian... That thing is smokin Mike...

Thanks Gregg! Oh believe me I know this, but she is very aggro. Not just tail whipping, but biting and almost doing a "death roll" on him!
