well, I'm really just looking for some inspiration and helpful suggestions. So if anyone's got a few good suggestions, (what type of bedding to use, what type of foliage is good, etc.) neat tricks, (a toilet paper roll makes a good hiding place, what plants are poisonous) or whatever, I can use the help. I'm a visual learner too so pictures would be more than appreciated. I also wanna see how creative you guys are with plants and those fake reptile vine thingys. So, lets see them masterpieces :main_thumbsup:

set up

This is one of ours. Her laying box goes in the empty corner. I just made all of the plants from supplies from the craft store.

I'm about to re-do this; it needs a good clean and I have to take out the plant on the left. I knew the rubber tree would get too large, but he really loves it. It's my first viv and I think a success; he uses every inch of it! It's a 20g high:

Here's the basic setup. I fiddled with the floor plan slightly to try to add a laying box, but people tell me that what I've given her isn't deep enough. I'll change it to give her something better. The floor before changes looks like this.

The plastic container in the back corner is filled with water. I have a hose and an air stone in the water, and I bubble air through the water to try to increase humidity.

I have a little plastic "log" hide behind the tower. She sometimes hides under the log.

She pretty much uses every bit of this cage.

The substrate is repti-carpet. I think the carpet works well. I clean it with the hose in the driveway. Sometimes, I soak it further in a bucket with a little detergent, but I don't think the extra cleaning is necessary.

seriously. i hope mine turns out half as nice as all your's did. I'm just keeping a note to myself. Lots of climby material for my cresty and hopefully something it can hide inside.

Umm, felt like sharing:

Custom viv for my wife's ciliatus

Custom trio of vivs for random geckos. Right now, the first one has a male R. auriculatus in it and the one next to it has a male R. l. henkeli (Nuu Ami) in there. Tonight, the third one (on the far right) is getting a male R. ciliatus in there.
