Year 1 (F1)
Breed Tangerine to any strain of Albino. This will generate Tangerines het Albino
Incubate the hatchlings to be a mix of males and females
Hold back the best looking male hatchling and the best looking female to breed next year.
Year 2 (F2)
Breed the two hold backs to each other. The result of the pairing will be 25% Tangerine Albinos (Varying amounts of Tangerine) and the rest would be Tangerines (Varying amounts of Tangerine) that have a 67% het for Albino.
The other way would be to breed a Tangerine het Albino to an Albino of the same strain. The result would be Leopard Geckos showing varying amounts of Tangerine along with 50% Albinos and 50% het Albinos.jmlslayer said:this is the kind of info i want and need anybody else got some???
For Sunglows and Hybinos, it takes a lot more generations to refine to achieve the desired look. Generally, Sunglows and Hybinos have not spots on their bodies or heads. The main difference between the two is Sunglows hold more Tangerine influence and Hybinos will have more yellow.jmlslayer said:i want to make my own strain of tangerine albino so i want to start out with tang X albino. how about making a sunglow do i need a tang? or something completely different?
The same as a Sunglow, just it tends to have more yellow than orange.jmlslayer said:hmm i see...i really like the tangerine color and not really yellow so i can deal with the process to make sunglow. what is a hybino???
The best bet would to purchase a Super Hypo that does not have any Tangerine in it.jmlslayer said:ok i have really deep orange tangs do i need a lighter orange tang to make hybino?
Just a Super Hypo, http://leopardgeckowiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Super_Hypojmlslayer said:a super hypo what?
