Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum but I have no where else to turn. There is not a vet that deals with reptiles where I am from and the closest one (being an hour away) is unavailable.

I have a little girl leopard gecko named Spots. I recently moved back home and left her for the weekend (she's been by herself before, Plus I thought it'd be better so she could get used to the new environment and calm down for the stress of moving) When I got home, however, I noticed a strange behaviour. She would start climbing and trying to get out of the cage (more frequent than normal) I used to think it was cute but now that's all she does. She climbs and falls and climbs again and falls again. Also, she won't eat and her ...deposits...was green last time. It's been about 4 days and even when I try to hand feed her she won't take it. On a positive note, I tried again today and she took the worm but with great effort. She moved so slowly at it and eventually got it. I checked her underside and it seemed normal. There's a big of a dark spot though. Anything I should be concerned with? Or just stress? She's in the living room now, with a lot of action, whereas she used to be in my room where it was quieter. Should I move her back?

Any help?

Note: 20 gal tank, 30 degree C on the hot side. substrate is carpet. Eats crickets - 3 small daily. moss for her bedding

I bought her in Sept from a pet store...she was probably a month or two old by then? Not very big when I got her.

I also read some of the other posts on here about parasites and egg binding. I'm not sure what best describes her though. They seem like they could all be it. :(

There is a post in here somewhere that talks about females when they are ovulating being kind of crazy climbing the cage too....

she might not be sick.

Do not move her back. This behavior is due to stress, the stress of a new environment and the stress of the "move" itself. If she is starting to take food.. I would not worry. The green ...deposit... could mean there is something wrong, but I have not heard of this nor have I seen it.
And with ovulating being an issue, all of my ovulating females do that (where they stand up and pretend to crawl up the sides of the enclosure.. usually in a corner) and the ones that have places to climb do climb and fall as well.. its like they are trying to escape! But its all normal, common behavior. They usually start at about 8 months (since they usually reach about 40-45 grams then) and once... one of my girls BIT me when I tried to pick her up while she was ovulating and she is the sweetest little thing ever!!! not that day!! Think of what we feel like when its our time of the month...lol.
Keep an eye on what she eats and her excrements....and keep us posted.

Okay, perfect.

Thanks guys :)

I did decide to move her though. Just upstairs to a quieter room where people aren't walkign around constantly. She poked her head out and started to look at the new scenery.

Thanks Kelly for your examples. I just needed someone to reassure me that her actions are similar to others. If she lays an infertile egg, do I take it out? or leave it there? Like, will she get all defensive about it like birds do?

I was just worried cause the pet store said that it might be parasites so that freaked me out. lol

Okay, I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I have any problems.

Once again, thanks :)
