Siezure, Stroke, Heart Attack?? RIP Tangie..

Okay, so I had mentioned before my female Tang I adopted from Kristi had laid an unformed dud egg. Tonight she very suddenly passed away.. I'm not sure why! I think that maybe she had a stroke or some kind of clot. She started thrashing, and held her mouth open like she couldn't swallow. Then she was just paralyzed, but barely breathing. I didn't even have time to call the vet before she faded away.

I don't know what could have caused it. She's had it rough since I got her. She dropped her tail during shipping, and it took her a while to start eating, but she seemed fine and healthy overall. Temps and all were right. Using repashy calcium plus as supplements. If there was any inclination she was sick, I would have taken her to the vet. But it was just SO sudden!

I never even gave her an official name. Just called her Tang or Tangie. Anyway, I just wanted to give you guys an update. RIP my sweet little girl.

First off, I'm very sorry for your loss. Take her to the vet and ask for a necropsy. That will help identify what the cause of death was.

Sounds like severe stress
