I should have known better. I pulled the aquarium style hood off the 75 because it was getting too hot, and didnt put them back on at night. I guess my one cats curiosity overwhelmed her and she got in the cage, my favorite "scar" has one more reason for the name, he shed his tail last night. They are all fine now, even the plants were shewed on!!! I guess i need to understand that this is the first animal i have had that cant defend its self well lol. Everything else i had would bite.
I feel so bad, almost cried. And am furious at the cat (more at myself), but haven't done anything cause i know. Even though she knows damn well she did something wrong and i am pissed. She knows she isnt supposed to be up there.

So i put some neosporin on it, hes not hungry right now which i dont blame him. I will go pick up some treats via crickets and waxworms today.

I'm so sorry. I have had 2 geckos killed by my cats due to my own stupidity in not closing the cage and having them get out. It feels lousy, I know. Hopefully we will both do better in the future. I hope your little guy will be OK. I'm glad there wasn't further damage.

hes not eating right now, i got him to take some calcium(-d3) so, i have some mealies and wax worms in a cup for everyone, hopefully later tonight they will eat.

sorry to hear that. Just make sure you keep his tail area moist with the neosporin or some vasalene. That way it will stay moisturized and will grow back a lot nicer and easier.

That totally sucks, I'm so sorry. I did a similar thing with my cockatiels. I can back after refilling food dishes to see the cat in the cage with the birds! There were no fatalities, but a lot of lost feathers. My birds literally wouldn't speak to me for a week!
