I was thrilled to find a perfect egg in the humid hide just a few days ago and got it into the incubator. Checked on it last night and it had dented, deflated and started to mold.
I feel about as crushed as the egg. :(
Trying to figure out why? My humidity is at 75%. I have 3 other eggs in there seeming to be fine.

Same thing happened to me so I feel your pain. Is she a first time layer? That was my girls first egg to lay so thats why it was bad.

This is her first year, but her 2nd, or possibly 3rd clutch. I have one other egg that I think is hers, but may be from my other female (who's also 1st year). Her first clutch of eggs she trampled.
I'm hoping to have at least ONE baby this year! We're brand new to this, so I'll be happy with just one success.

I know how you feel, I was in your position last season. I just wanted ONE hatchling! Don't give up, keep on trying. I'm sure it's nothing you did that caused the egg to go bad. Unfortunately, first year breeders do that sometimes, even on the 2nd and 3rd clutches. Hopefully, your other eggs will turn out okay! Good luck, and have patience!

I'll be patient! But it's so hard! :p
God love my husband who deals with my zoo in the living room. Between the geckos, mealworm factory, and new superworm factory, we can barely find the couches!
He's going to build be a rack system... if not for this year's babies, next year's!
