So for xmas my boyfriend told me that he was going to get me out of hoodies and sneakers but I could keep the skinny jeans. I agreed. I'd like a more grown up look for the weekends. So he took my xmas shopping today and basically bought me my gifts right infront of me but I like it better that way, Lol. Anyway I got this cut knit sweater with a chunky neck with some leggings and then I bought these kick ass boots with like a 2-3inch heel (not tall at all). I tried them on they fit and were pretty comfortable when I walked around in a circle, ONLY one problems I've never worn heels before, Lol. My big debut is on New Years Eve and I really don't want to fall on my face so any tips on how to walk in heels?

Lolol I know this is sooo silly but my mom doesn't wear heels either...

If you don't have tread or traction on the bottom of the heals make sure to take some sand paper to them to keep from slipping on carpet. I use to run in heals when I was in hs would wear them every day because I was so short and wanted to try to look a little taller...... LOL

Coming from a girl who will rock 6" stilettos at the grocery store...

A) Try to put your weight toward the balls of your feet. If you have all your weight on the heel and it slips you'll wipe out.

B) Practice walking in them inside and outside so you're comfortable on all surfaces. For a challenge, walk on a slick floor (like the grocery store, lol) and loose gravel.

C) If the soles are slick you can sand them as Felicia explained and if that doesn't work you can get grippers that stick to the bottoms like these.

D) Instead of walking with your feet exactly parallel try turning your toes out just a tad.

E) Practice makes perfect.

Good luck!
