For some strange reason one of my new hatchlings likes to poo on top of one of his hides, but he does it in such a way that it always sticks vertically to the side of the hide. I wish he would just use the paper towel like his clutch mate. LOL

I've had the same issue with hatchlings. I've also had hatchlings who do the following:

--insist on sleeping with the neighbors (squeezing through the partition to the hatchlings on the other side)

--only taking food from my hand but biting my finger first (they think my finger is the food lever)

Bubba and Freya pooped on the cool hide when they were babies and housed together...and months after theyve been seperated and in different tanks they still do it :main_laugh:

Daisy is my most rude pooper though. She comes right up to the corner of the plastic tank, sticks her tail and butt into the air and squits it out against the side without caring who is watching her :main_laugh: Last weekend my mum and brother watched in shock and disgust as she did a huge poop right infront of them :main_laugh:

I have two food bowls in my 20 L tank and spot and flower are room mates. spot is my male flower is my lil lady. She chose the purple bowl to be her food bowl, and she poops a full circle around the bowl as if she is making her territory! spot sticks to a far corner. Leos have funny potty habits i guess lol
