I thought you would love to see these two pictures, some of you might remember my male and how no one could figure exactly what his morph is. In the end we went with Murphy Patternless and then I added the Hypermelanistic to his morph, he is very dark as seen here, but so is his mate, I think she might also be Hypermelanistic. But look at their offspring of this month, the little male is awesome. Thought you might enjoy these pictures.

Their offspring of this year, look at the little male on the right, he is showing off his Hypermelanistic trait of his parents.

Now is my female Adama het for Mack Snow or what, because I have been getting a lot of comments about her being something different from what I thought she was. Or are we talking about the new male that is black and white in the picture of the hatchlings or what?

My first impression of Adama was that she is a Mack Snow.
I'm pretty sure the black and white is also.

Mack Snow is dominant (co-dominant), so they only need to be "het" to see it expressed. With 2 copies of the MS allele the gecko is a Super Snow.

Will be interesting to see how the little ones turn out.

yeh i wouldnt say the one on the right is showing off any hypermelanistic trait... its a mack snow.
the female must be a mack snow

and the male does look like a cold patternless, but i wouldnt say there was any genetic hypermelanism there.

I would actually suggest that the male is a Mack snow. I have a female that looks nearly exactly like your male which was sold to me as a Snow Blizzard (snow blizzards are known for having a "frosted" look). I did just about the same cross as you did -- to a normal male and got 5 hatchlings, 4 of which survived. Didn't get any snows, though I may next season. Of the 4 survivors, 1 is darkish but the other 3 are very light. Most of them are getting that blizzard speckled look. Here's a picture of the oldest:

Well I guess we will have to wait until the little guys are older and their patterns come about, then we will see what they really are. Still am going with my male being a Murphy Patternless that is Hypermelanistic.
