Sire Troubles

Hi, I have 3 females that I am wanting to breed this coming season. The only problem is that I dont know what male morph to get to help produce good/better offspring. Currently, I have a normal, Tremper Albino, and a CT. A morph that can contribute to making nice offspring for all of them would be wonderful. I understand that with my normal getting a morph can be a far shot, but with my Tremper and CT I am hoping for something nice. Any suggestions to what morph that is reasonably priced would be helpful. Thanks to all who read and give suggestions. :main_thumbsup:

Thanks,

Here are a few things to think about:
Do you mostly want to have something nice this next season or do you want to have more of a long term plan that will work out over a number of seasons?

Will you be incubating for male and female, in which case you can breed offspring to each other, or just for one gender?

What do you like?

I'm getting a little bored with the aptors, but if you like them that could be a way to go. My other 3 suggestions are as follows:
a. get a tremper male and make trempers and het trempers this next season. Then you can breed them back to the male (especially if the CT is also hypo, you could get tang albinos with reduced spotting) or, if you do males and females you could breed the hets to each other

b. get a stripe. I had 50% stripes last year from my stripexbanded cross. This year I bred stripes het for tremper and got patternless/striped albinos.

c. get a mack super snow and make all sorts of macks which you can breed back to each other.

Good luck. I'm having a blast.

Get a Super Hypo Carrottail het Tremper Albino. Then you'll be able to produce some of everything. Normals, Super Hypo Carrottails and Tremper Albinos.

Thanks for the help.

Ipsl & malt_geckos- I think an APTOR would be good, for both my CT and tremper. I will definately keep them in mind.

acpart- both a long term and short. I would like to see a small amount of improvement in possibly the first season, but I would also like it to continue. I am going to incubate for 50/50 this season. My tastes are constantly going to the odd ball gecko, who doesn't follow to any conventional settings. The Tremper and Mack Snow would work perfect, but Im not a fan of stripes.

Okee Reps- The SHCT het Tremper sounds like a good choice too. I will definately look into the possibilities

Thanks for all your help with this, but keep the opinions coming!
