Size and age??

Alright, this is my first real post here.
My only other one is in the intro section.

I was wondering how you can tell the age of a Leo?
I have had him for about a week now.
What age can I sex him at. lol.
He is a him until otherwise noticed. haha
But any other tips or tricks for me?
I'm feeding him mealworms and crickets.
I do the gutloading for the crickets 24 hours before.
Also dusting them with calcium powder.
I change his water every day, dechlorinating it.
I have him in a 10g tank, soon to be a 29.
Sorry, I call them tanks out of habit.
I keep fish also.
I have to get rid of them soon due to me going to basic and tech school.

He's about 4 1/2 in. tops.
He has spots already to.
Idk if that has anything to do with age...
Just thought I'd add it just in case.
