skin is flaking

Hello, i saw that one of my leos have strange skin. its flaking. its normal?

could be the start - end of the shed, any unusual circumstances?

no, on polish forum we discussed that similar skin condition seen deferent people on them leos without any reason. shed was some time ago and after it i didnt saw this. after every shed i look carefully that theres no remainders of the shed.

is this only happening in one spot? are you using uvb lighting.

she has it on the caudation and a bit on the bump. i dont use uvb

What type of substrate are you using?? Is it a female? If it is a female; is it in with a male or has been recently?

Looks to me like a scrape of some kind. Is it in with another leo at all?

It looks like mating marks or calcium sand dust. Unless of course you have a bird cage anywhere near it.

A bird cage? It isn't dust.

it is female, she lives with another female and one male. as a substrate they have bark. second female doesnt have it, male have on the muzzle. i dont have birds maby the wetness is to low?

Daisy gets this kinda "gecko dandruff" every so often, after a shed i think.

I just make sure her moist hide isnt drying out and she has a good soak and it clears up.

Not sure if its the same thing just giving my 2 pennies worth

Okay, just wanted to clarify because it looks a lot like the bird dander that gets sent off from them when they molt. Wasn't sure.
