Yea I know exacty what you mean. Some people like poke them then jerk their hand back and are nervous which the geckos can sense. I always move slowly and deliberatley suporting his body. I've been handling all sort of critters since I could walk and that's one thing animals pick up on just like when holding a bunny or dog or cat if they don't feel suported and safe they will try and jump out. He's been getting beter everyday today we watched tv for about an hour he would crawl on the shoulders and go back and forth across my chest every now and again
