On his back though?, they will rub their back on stuff, but they dont roll over on their back. I dont know though, either something is wrong with the leo or you have the one and only rolling over leo lol.

Well I don't really know what on his back means as I didn't witness it, I am mearly reporting hearsay evidence.

I've never seen mine on their backs in their cages, but I have seen them flip over when they are in deli cups - similar setting as the moist hide.

My geckos ussually strech their legs out and really lay down, but never on thier backs. My juviniles take about 15-20 to complete a shed after it begins to peel. Its pretty cool to watch. The only thing with my guys is that they get skin stuck on their nose. Dont know if thats a problem?

Lying on their back is very wierd, but I doubt it will be a big problem, but just to be safe keep an eye on her and take her to the vet if it keeps on happening.

I'd watch him closely if he's flipping over on his back seeing as leo's don't have thoracic diaphragms so they can't breathe when they're on their back's. I hope he was just rolling over because he was passed out due to lack of oxygen if he wasn't conscience. Its like with rabbits they don't have a thoracic diaphragm either so when people flip them on their back and think that they're sleeping they're actually suffocating the rabbit.

I just read this thread for the first time, and as I was scrolling past all the posts of people saying they've never seen a gecko on it's back, I was thinking, "Haven't you ever been to a reptile show?" :main_laugh: Also, I've found geckos in their humid hides sideways and upside-down while they're digging in the substrate (usually for egg laying or shedding).
