Sleeping

A friend gave me a pair of Leo's a few weeks ago a male and female, because he could no longer take care of them. Is it normal for the female to sleep a lot? I know their nocturnal so I'm not talkin about the day. But I wake up at 3 am for work and the male is up waiting for food and she is still sleeping. She's a fatty so I know she is still eating well. Warm side of viv is around 90-95 while the cool side is about 80. My lights are set for 9am-9pm. Any help would be appreciated.

If you work during the day the female may be awake during those late morning hours when you are not around. I have quite a few geckos that stay awake from dawn (when I see them) until about noon or 1pm then they start their napping routine. She may just be sleeping in late....

Think about cats and how much they sleep . . . I guess some of both species are just kind of lazy.

Alright, thanks. I also own a chameleon and if they sleep during the day they are probably dying. Just wanted to make sure. :main_thumbsup:
