Slow grower?

So I've been looking on websites (actually looking to buy something special). I've been looking at hatch dates and weights, then compared it to my first hatchling. She hatched 8/22/2012 and is only 9 grams. She eats very well, is fed mealworms every night and gets dubias every other night...crickets about once a week. There's a bowl of pure calcium, as well as Miner-All Indoor dusted on her food every other feeding. Temp on the hot side is 90-92*F. She sheds properly every time, but only sheds about once a month.

I mean, I even saw one that was hatched on the same day and was 29g. Many others are ranging in the 20-30g range as well.

Any ideas on what I should do to help her grow "normally"? Or is it the same with crested geckos, where they simply grow at different rates, no matter what you do.

I think they just grow at different rates. I once had a pair of clutchmates and after about 2 months there was a 15 gram difference between them. I have one born 8/6 who weighs only 4 grams. Very healthy and well-proportioned for the size, but really small. Some of mine have started very slowly and at a certain point just taken off. There are some people on the forum here who have true dwarf leopard geckos. These are usually shorter and rounder in the body with relatively large heads.

Thanks, Aliza. I know she's not a dwarf, as she's perfectly proportional. Makes me feel better that she's not the only slow grower lol.

I know with crested geckos, there's a big range of growth rates, but was wondering if the same happened with leopard geckos. I currently have two that were hatched within days of each other. At 1.5 years old, one is 28g, the other is 12g (and actually recently gained 5g last month).

Well, let's hope she starts her growth spurt soon. haha
