Ive noticed small bugs (not ants) walking around both the tanks. They are very small , i just dont know how they got there. They kind of look like fruit flies. Is there any way to remove them?
I had little fruitfly like things in my spider plant when I watered it too much. They were nasty and annoying. I'd pull everything out, bleach what can be bleached and replace what cannot.
Those are probably predatory mites, isopods or springtails. Pretty harmless to leos as they hunt down the real parasitic mites and other dangerous bugs on the substrate. Otherwise, it is pretty normal to have both on a coco fiber substrate.
Well they are ants. They just dont look like the outside ones and are much smaller. They are just all ober the mealworm dish. Im going to see if i find something at walmart to keep em away. But my leo issac hasnt been eating at all "/ the temperatures are all good, water n calcium dish. However, i havent seen any poop
