Small Collection?

Hi as some of you might know this is year #1 for me breeding. I am breeding 2 females to a male. So I wanted to ask you guys what would be a small collection? How many females to breed a year in a small collection? I would like to know because I would like to keep my collection small until I get a bit older.

a "small" collection is all relative to the person. some people consider ten geckos small, i have 21 and i consider my collection small. it's really all relative

I have 1.3 main breeders and I had about 16 babies this year (two females were first timers). I really can't handle more than the offspring 4 females can produce in a year because I don't have the space or the racks. It just depends what you have room for, and keep in mind that if you breed you can more than double your leopard gecko collection in a single season. You need to make plans to either sell, adopt-out, or keep any babies you don't want to use for future breeding.
