Gorgeous Geckos!

One question, how do you know the Macks are Pastels? Did you prove them out?

Thanks Jeanne!

Well I'm just assuming they're Pastels because the father is. The Mack Snow has the same background coloration as dad and the white head as well. The sibling has the lighter colored head and the two spots where the bands were are white. I'm going by Alex Hue's description of a Mack Pastel, by the way. The rest of the babies are still too young to tell.

Of course I didn't prove them out yet... :main_rolleyes: :main_laugh:

Duh! You knew what I meant...LOL

I am trying to figure out if one of mine is a Mack Pastel, to me the Pastels look so much like High Yellows, it is hard to tell the difference.

I agree they do look like High Yellows, but I think the major difference is the body color is not represented fully on the head. Plus it really does seem co-dom/dom because I reproduced it in the first generation. I really don't think you'd get such nice babies (like the female) from outcrossing to a Blizzard if it weren't co-dom/dom. Once the eggs hatch from the rest of my females I should be able to paint a bigger picture, if you know what I'm saying.

Thanks rob! The female weighed in at 45 grams today and she's not even three months yet! The bigger male isn't far behind at 39 grams. If they don't slow down they're going to be huge!
