Snake eyes

Will FULL eclipse eyes x FULL eclipse eyes give mostly FULL eclipse eyes? Or is there still a 50% chance that snake eyes will pop up? Is there any way that snake eyes can be avoided?

you will get just as many fulleyed geckos from 2 full eyed parents and you will from 2 snake eyed parents and vice versa.

You mean its 50/50? I was hoping 2 full-eyed parents will give mostly full-eyed babies...

I mean the gene is a variable eye trait and no matter the pairing of visible eyes trait it's still variable.

Yep, no matter how much 'red' is in the eyes, the trait behaves the same. People just want the solid eyed ones because it looks so cool...I personally prefer the ones with the front half of both eyes red--they look cross-eyed when you look at them face to face
