Snakes On a Plane

So, I finally saw the movie Snakes On a Plane. Nikki was hiding under my arm the entire movie but I loved it haha. It isn't very fun watching them kill all these snakes, but they didn't actually die, so that movie was awesome. OK, in all honesty, it isn't a "great movie" but when you just start getting into herps and are very interested in snakes, it sure is entertaining to watch. Anyway, just thought I would share.

It was ok, not a great movie but worth seeing once... And I honestly think the only good "snake" movie ever made was ANACONDA the first one. I still love that movie!

I'll agree with that. I just wish they looked more realistic. I guess that is difficult when they make it like 100 feet long, but you know what I mean.

Haha.. it was technically a "bad" movie, but I liked the snakes and Nikki screaming every 4 seconds lol. Plus, any movie where Samuel L Jackson yells is a good movie. So, I guess that means any Samuel L. Jackson movie. "I have had enough of these mother****** snakes on this mother****** plane!"

I heard that line was not in the script but put in during post due to people using it on the net. I guess not the line verbatim but "Snakes on a MF Plane", oh that Sam, such a colorful vocabulary. have you seen The Long Kiss Goodnight with he and Gina Davis? A bit violent and profane but pretty good (in that bad movie way)

I haven't seen Anaconda, nor Snakes on a plane, nor the movie that I will mention next. But if you love bad movies about snakes, 'Boa VS Python' must be awful! Just look at the cover!

Lol I've seen that at Blockbuster. That one doesn't look like a bad movie, that looks more like "why on Earth did anyone make this???". Trust me, there's a difference haha

I hate when you see non venomous snakes being used as venomous ones. I'm not even talking about live ones, but like the computer generated Corn Snakes and I think there was a Diamond Python. They actually showed them biting people and the people died from the bite. Movies like this give all snakes a bad name.

I refuse to watch it, the whole movie is so stupid IMO. the last thing snakes need is more bad rap.

What do you mean this movie gives snakes a bad name. The only movie that gave anything a bad name was JAWS.

On top of that they explain why the snakes went nuts in the movie, they attacked because of a "pharamone" not just because they were snakes... Besides I'm fairly sure there are few people stupid enough to realize this was nothing more than a HollyWood flick...
