There are several types of Snows: Line Bred, Mack, Gem, TUG (The Urban Gecko). Sorry if I forgot any!
Line Bred Snows have been selectively bred to lack yellow pigment.
Mack and Gem Snows are incomplete dominant morphs, all though most people still call Macks "co-doms". Mack x Mack = Super Snow, Gem x Mack = Super Snow, but Gem x Gem does not create a Super form.
TUG Snows are believed to be a dominant morph.
It's very hard to tell the difference between Normal and Giant Leos without knowing the true genetics behind each. Leos grow at all different rates just like people. I am 5' tall and one of the ladies I work with is 6' tall but she's not a Giant, she's just bigger than me. It works the same with Leos.
(If anyone has anything to add or correct about the Snows, please do!)
Thanks. I'm not sure what kind Lenny is, all I was told was that she was a snow. She's about 3 months old, would I have to wait for her to get older to find out exactly what she is?
Mack Snows are the most common so odds are good that she's a Mack. Maybe if you posted pictures someone could help. I can't really tell the difference with any decent amount of certainty.
