Snubbing waxworms?

I have had Spaz for about 2 months now. At first he would eat anything I gave him (have to hand feed him he refuses to eat from a bowl or 'hunt' except crickets). He would go completely insane when I put a waxworm in front of him literally running from one end of the tank to the other until I put the waxworm in the tank.

Now he totally snubs them he now goes crazy when I go to the superworm bin. But when I offer a waxworm he will either lick it and turn away or like begrudgingly take it. I only offer them once or twice a month.

Anyone else have a leo that doesn't like waxworms?

One of my Leos refuses wax worms. I think that is good though, so they won't get addicted to them. I never offer any off my Leos waxworms. One time I was low on mealies and needed food fast so I got some waxworms and my girl refused them. She will eat the Superworms which I give a couple times a month.

Waxworms are for bulking up or treats!

I was trying to use them to put some weight on him since he was a little under weight when I got him. But it is ok with me if he doesn't like them I will just feed them to my ferrets as treats and the birds outside.

I think it is funny the way he will run back and forth as fast as his little legs will go when he sees me open a bin.
