Babies usually get paper towel substrates or something they cant ingest because they are more likely to get impacted than adults. Smaller prey items as mentioned. Make sure to keep them moist... spray at least once a day. Babies go through a lot of growth so shed more often. Also they may or may not figure out how to use a water dish, at least at first, so will drink the water droplets to keep hydrated.

yeah like Reptiles said, stop offering the baby food. Baby food is made for babies, and although your gecko is a gecko baby, it isnt a human baby. CGD is what it is going to need and I would suggest that being its only food for the first month before considering offering crickets (no larger than the distance inbetween its eyes), to insure it is eating well on the CGD. Babies dont eat for the first few days, once they go through their first shed, they then eat. They will not need calcium right now if the diet is only CGD, if a crested gecko is raised on CGD alone, they rarely need extra calcium in their diet, except for egg laying females to which I would be sure to add a bit of extra calcium to her food. And if she is not on CGD, I would strongly suggest switching them off of the baby food diet even if it is mixed with calcium as the CGD will give her the proper nutrition she needs, without it females tend to go down hill at a very young age if breeding.

As another person stated, I would get it on paper towels, babies easily become impacted from particle substrates, and it will be far easier to monitor feces on paper towels.

Babies dehydrate easily so be sure you are misting the tank 2-3 times a day, you dont want it sopping wet, it does need to dry out slightly, but at the same time humid enough so that the baby can one drink the water droplets, and two it has an easier time shedding.
