I just killed a batch of Phoenix worms by stupidity!! Ok, the meal worms go in the fridge, supers in the laundry room at room temp, butters in the fridge, Phoenix worms in the garage next to the fridge (but not in it!!) to keep cool. I'm tired, it's late, I'm gathering worms for the feeding frenzy and then put the Phoenix worms in the fridge instead of next to the fridge!! All dead by the time I figured out what I did . . . Second time I've done this except the other time I had switched and put supers in the fridge and left the mealies out . . Oh yeah, I've left waxes out before too. Sigh . . . too many worms . . . too many different temps. lol! Those Phoenix worms are too damn expensive though. And now I'm thinking of trying Dubias . . . . how will I handle that??

If it makes you feel better I've ordered Phoenix worms three times now hoping for a different outcome. My gecko absolutely refuses to have anything to do with them and I end up not using them.

I keep trying because I know the benefits but nothing like an entire order of Phoenix worms going bad because "Mr. Picky" doesn't like them.

at least you didnt leave the top open and go away for a week and come back to the 200 soldiers all over the gecko room. It could of been worse trust me, i thought there was a bees nest or something in there when i walked in the door. I'm never getting those again plus there so expensive. Roaches are good, they breed like crazy and you only need to buy 1 big purchase and your good if you feed them and keep them warm for a long time. There like a constant supply but i downsized my roach farm this winter as most of what i keep eats worms.

Maybe try color-coding the containers or writing in really large bright letters what's on each thing? That way it should catch your eye before you do something like put the wrong feeder in the wrong place
