So Gus goes to the vet on Wednesday

to get treated for his pinworms. I'm taking him to my regular vet (I really like her) even though she doesn't specialize in reptiles. She does treat some exotics--just not her specialty. She can show me how she gives the Pancur and she'll give me more Pancur for the others without them being seen if I can give her their weights. I suspect 2 others who haven't been eating well may also be infected. Apparently, she says pinworms are very common with Geckos. I plan on doing regular fecals after this. It's not too expensive just to drop off samples.

The vet is only about 10-15 minutes away but I worry about stressing him or cooling him down too much. How long can he safely stay out of his tank?

I wouldn't worry at all about a short trip like that, especially with Sacramento's mild weather.

if your worried about him getting cold, then buy some heat packs for him. but you live in cali, so i think he'll be okay for a short trip like that good luck making them feel better!
