ok guy n gals I just candled my eggs and they are PERFECT
they have such a clear bullseye, and are such a nice pink
they were laid on the 8th so I still have a good 30-40 days from now
but I am PUMPED the only question I have is what would the expected due day
they have been cooking at 82 and like I said were laid on the 8th

mine took 52 days at 83f. Its a waiting game now. I couldnt stay away from the incubator. i checked it everyday, even when they were only a week in, lol

I know what you mean! I have an egg thats on day 41 today and its HUGE! My temps are set at 85 but they were 82 for the first two weeks... I hope it hatches soon this will be my first baby if it makes it. I check the incubator about 4-5 times a day (which I shouldnt do) but I want to meet the little guy as soon as it hatches.... :main_robin:

and I thought I was bad looking twice a day, but like you I don't want to miss anything. I too have my first fertile egg, has been cooking now for 32 days at 85* I even have a name picked out and talk to my egg all the time, it's name is Chickapee. If I could kiss it goodnight I would! This is so much fun!!!!

Last season, my eggs at 83 usually hatched at 45-48 days.
