Im going back and forth on what to do with some projects for this coming year. I have a choice between 2 pairings.

The male - Very nice Bell Sunglow

Female - Hypo W&Y Eclipse het Bell

With a great chance at some killer Tang W&Y Bells het eclipse

OR....

Pairing 2:

The male - Nice Snow Radar - No pics at the moment sorry

Female - same as above

With a decent chance of some killer W&Y Mack Snow Radars

The question is, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? :main_huh: Im torn.... Any and all opinions are welcome and appreciated!

That is a hard decesion. I personally think the Sunglow RADAR W/Y will make some amazing geckos. The Tangerine Eclipse W/Y het bells might even look better! Either way you choose you can't go wrong. And you could just get another W/Y Eclipse het Bell female and solve all your problems :)

Which holdbacks would help your future breeding out more? Breed for that the first year, the other male next year, then a year off for the lady? By then you'll probably have a couple other females to pair up (assuming you're working to be a breeder).

What about the game-of-chance method? Put both males to her (different times) and see what babies turn up? People do it with BPs, not sure how it works with leos.

Well I started with thinking that the babies from the first pairing would get me a great start on a really nice extreme tangering w&y radar project but at
the same time snow/super w&y radars sounds like something nice to get into also. Grrr....

Couldnt do the chance method idea. Too many questions there. Maybe Ill squeeze in a small weekend job (Im a contractor) and spring for a second female (assuming I can find one) and squash the problem.

I am working to be a long term breeder. Not for the money (I can assure you Ill spend alot more than Ill ever make), but I do like the idea of "creating" exceptional animals for people to enjoy. Hopefully Ill break even..:p

That is indeed a tricky one to figure out!! I think id try to look into getting a 2nd female if at all possible.. Snow radars sound amazing.. But your bell sunglow pictured is VERY nice as well and would be nice to pass on the nice tang color :)
