i thought i knew enough about sophie's genetics, but going through all the posts and pics makes me curious what she could be.
i know she is definitly an enigma ( has had the syndrome) but as far as specifics, i can only guess because the breeders were not sure who her mother was. any feedback would be great!
oh, last pic- shes not nearly that orange- i tried to adjust the colors so you could see the underlying patterns that are emerging- almost a line/marbleing of orange.
her eyes seem a bit unusual to me, and her eyelids are actualy bright orange on the inside rim! she so priiiiiity....and very fat lol

She is a Tangerine Enigma but there is no way of knowing the hets if the breeder doesn't know. She could be het for Tremper, Bell and Eclipse. To know for sure you would have to test breed her to different males.
year 1: breed to RAPTOR male, this will let you know if she is Tremper or het Eclipse
year 2: breed to Bell male

they werent sure of the mother because they put all the eggs together i guess- i may just take her in to have them look at her to be sure
dont know if ill breed her or not- especialy since she displayed such an exagerated case of enigma syndrom for about a week ( shes much better now)
shes almost old enough to confirm her sex- the breeders said they incubated her at the temp to produce females, hence "sophie"
her temperment in strange- she can be paranoid, and yet was ready to eat my husbands 20 inch snake! she likes to stare at her reflection evertime i put her back in her tank- hopefuly thats vanity and not a male dominance charictoristic!
