howdy! so our rescued pair of geckos laid a clutch of eggs around June 24th... we dont have an incubator, so we are trying the fish tank method... temps are around 82ish... how long do ya think it will take? also one egg im not 100% if its good or not, its still pretty soft, and just noticed tonight that its dented a lil bit... does this mean dud? cuz there is plenty of moisture in there... and lastly... the container... should the cover have holes in it so when they do hatch or should it just be checked daily? like with a lil gecko be alright with out airholes for a few hours or so...??? thanks for the help! :main_thumbsup:

At 82, my eggs are taking from 7-8 weeks to hatch. It's pretty early for a viable egg to be denting, but I'd recommend just keeping it till it either stinks or hatches. I use Albey's incubation method which recommends containers without air holes. I open the lids briefly once a week. I'm sure air gets in, though, because I've had babies in there at least overnight who have been fine the next morning.

Will you be at the Maine show this AUgust?
