So, this might sound strange but...

My hubby and I were in bed and watching our geckos do their usual climbing around routine when one of my leo's decided to jump off of the top of her humid hide and go flying towards the other side of the tank and smack into the glass! I know climbing glass etc. means she's bored but I don't want her to hurt herself! What can I get for her? I saw somewhere that you can get a hamster ball for a particularly active gecko and let it run around but its mostly at night that she's like this....I don't have a background on my tank it's a 20L an I have another 5" leo and a juvenile leo who's also 5" but her head and body are smaller. (They are all females and have no problem with each other and I have 2 humid hides and 3 dry hides so please no bashing.)

It sounds fine. The hamster ball can be a bit dangerous. I used to let my geckos hang out behind the couch cushions in my couch (before I had so many) and they really seemed to enjoy that.

okay, my hubby was getting worried that she might hurt herself. She is always climbing on top of all the hides and then from there she keeps trying to climb on the thermometer or more up the glass and ends up falling. Will a background fix this problem?

Could be that she's trying to get out of the other female's territory or find one of her own? I might try separating them and see if the roaming behavior subsides. My females seem to sleep 23.5 hours a day...haha.
