I know kinda silly but just curious to see what other hobbies some of our members have aside of leos, herps, etc. So what do you collect that doesn't have a pulse?

I like to collect Beswick/Royal Doulton Horses and oddly enough, rocks :) Here's my small but fun collection of both. Those horses can be pricy lil boogers. My younger son Garrett likes helping me with the rocks and every time he finds a cool one he always tries to put it into the collection despite whether or not it is ordinary or extraordinary. Gotta love kids :)

I swear one of these days I'm getting that stinking charger and usb cord for my camera :(

So post pix if ya got 'em of your favorite collection :)

Rocks are fun. I don't have a picture at the moment, but a couple years ago, and ever since I was little, i collected model cars. Not the ones you have to paint & put together, just the regular ones in a box. I have at least 15 of the large model cars, my favs were the blue w/white racing stripes Viper & my Candy Apple Red Corvette. I took after my grandpa & he was usually the one to get me the different cars.

Like he scale model cars? That's cool, I love those. My older son has an awesome collection of those... he's been collecting them since he was a little dude (he's 14 now). I'll have to take a pic of them for you.. after he dusts them of course :)

Yes, those are the ones! Mine are all boxed up right now. My daughter actually kinda abused my Land Cruiser and now it only has one tire left on. I wouldn't let her play with the other ones though...those are all sports cars & such. hahaha

I actually have a rock that I found before my teens, that reminded me of the alien from Independence Day. I think I have it around somewhere....If I find it I'll take a picture.

Oh boy do I know what you mean there... we use to call Brey's scale model cars his "shelf cars" since he was also really into hot wheels but there was one truck and an old cop car from the 50's with the bubble gum top light that he absolutely loved playing with so god knows how many times we've glued those back together.

My older son just passed 5 double decker boxes of 14 year old hot wheels to my 6 year old. Sweet huh :)

Classic body like 1970's stingray-ish body style...

that would be 67 or older, the body style changed in '68 to the classic stingray type style that became so pupular. My fave is the 1963 split back... sooo sweet...

Imagine that... a chick that knows her cars :D

No, not Stingray. Its a convertible, so the back looks different...More like this, but the rear didn't slope as much...http://andersonrestorations.com/showroom/1359.htm

I'm good with cars in the "I know what that is, but not the what year it is" way. I'm pretty darn good at identifying them by their head lights (at night) as well. Tail lights are easiest. As for years, maybe only from the late 80s & up, and even then, don't quote me on anything...:p

*Actually, now that I looked at more pictures, I'm pretty sure that's it.

Nice gun collection. Is that one on the far right a colt? My son wants to know what kinda rifle that is. He wants to be a Marine corps sniper (ugh. following in daddy's footsteps). He also would love to see your guitar collection :) He's the curiious sort too :)

The one to the far right is a copy of a colt single action. And the rifle is a Henry golden boy .44mag. That is only a part of the collection though. The engraved one is a colt also, number 102 of 500 commemorative "Proud To Be An American"

I don't have a guitar collection really. I have 6 or 7, but the only really nice one is my Guild.
