I finally figured out how to use my camera in manual mode and it helped out a lot with the soft box. A little more lighting should make the pictures just about perfect.
here's some pics from tonight.

Aw cute geckos. I have problems taking pictures of my crested geckos without them looking a little more yellow than they are or not as red-orange. I need to play with my camera some more. You did a great job portraying their colors. Any tips?

That's a lot of eggs in one cup.

I'm not sure if i'm good enough with the camera to give you tips but I can tell you what I did.

I have them in a 24x24x24 soft box. ISO is set at 400, flash is +2/3, and the numbers on the bottom, forgot what they are called are 250 and F3.6.

Wow, it really makes a huge difference in pic quality! I love the guy with spots just above the eggs. What's the official name of that morph?

Thanks.

The one above the eggs is a red dalmation.

Lighting is a big part of photography. If you use incandesant lighting for your pictures your animals will turn out yellowish. You should try flourscent lights, you will get a better white balance.

The 250 is your shutter speed, and the F3.6 is your F stop, or aperture. Try to bump your iso setting down to 200. The higher you iso is set the more grainy your pics will become. In return the lower your iso the darker the pic. If your pics look like they come out to dark then bump your shutter speed down to 125 or even 150 to let more light in the lens.

I've been using the regular lighting in my room, which brings out the yellow pigments and fades the other pigments. My mom suggested using her bathroom, which has white lights, near flourescent. Very bright lighting. Thanks for the tip.
