soft egg

welll i placed my lay bins in my tanks last night and this morning i found a giant soft egg (just one) the egg is looking very nice and looks fertile but i dnt know why its soft though

Freshly laid eggs are always rather soft to the touch but if fertile it should firm up rather quickly.
