I am still working out a few things, but I have so many geckos, that i decided to post it now..
I haven't finished writing the texts for the front page, and the
'breeding projects' section...and trying to figure where i can put a gallery in the that page also...the banner images on a few pages may change this week

the original incarnation (last year...2yrs ago?) was done in iWEB and it couldn't handle the amount of graphics and info. Jason at Synthetic Reality did the CSS design with my graphics and cleaned up the layout.

I reshot the banner images and listed 25 geckos last week
April 6th i added a 'click-to-enlarge' feature on the 'available' page...
and i have over 50 more geckos of various ages and morphs that I will be adding over the next 3 weeks, if all goes as planned.

The other geckos to be added are: eclipse, het eclipse, het raptor, stripes, reverse stripes, mack snow, striped mack snow poss. het eclipse, normals het for tremper, and maybe some more sunglow and albinos.

I have a few unlisted these include some (2 het eclipse) with regenerated tails and some that the label fell off the bin, so I am not positive of the genetics (%'s of het/if het or not)..contact me if interested

thanks in advance for your patience while i make adjustments,
inquiries are welcome about any geckos, many are of age to breed.
Geckoforums members should contact me through GF PM
to inform me of any interest:* GF members receive a 15% discount *
-thanks for checking it out..

Looks Good! I didn't have any problems navigating. I am just setting up my website too and hasn't really been that difficult but where did you get the click to enlarge feature?

thanks

thanks for the feedback...
I tried to reduce the detail enough to load fast and still show the geckos accurately.Looks like i won't be doing any more updates until this weekend b/c of my schedule...

re: how the images enlarge...
the pages were done in CSS, originally, but i have started doing HTML in dreamweaver, a WYSWYG editor, and combing my 'sale' images with the existing CSS (not easy as PHP files are server side only, so dreamweaver doesn't display what that part looks like)

the code for opening up a link in a new window involves keeping a higher res/larger version in the image folder to reference, and using something like this:

<a href="images/Mar2web_645/Mar2_645web_32.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="images/mar2web_215x161/Mar02_215web_32.jpg"

where 'MAR2web_645etc...' is the large file i am pointing to when you click on the 'mar2web_215...' file.

The 'target="_blank tells it to open the larger version in a blank window....

using something like dreamweaver, you would select your desired image in your layout by clicking it once, then go to your properties and do the following:

Src: (should name your file that is displayed, the lo-res version)
Link: (should point to/name the hi-res version)
Target: (choose from the multiple options; '_blank')

i hope this helps, i am not an expert at html , either..lol
