These are some of my holdback for this season, some projects are coming along pretty cool. All these animals are very small and young.

I dont want to sound like a tool or anything but atleast of those leos look way skinny Alberto...
As I said, some of those are just like 1 week old, if they are skinny is because they hatched that way. The only ones a little bigger are the super snow and the mack raptor, which are both males and in my experience in average the tails of males does not get as fat as the one of the females. I will update the PICS later as they grow but nothing I can do to make hatchlings come out of the eggs already with fa tails.

The ones that look too skinny are the ones from the rainbow stripe project... Judging by the patterns, they look to be way over a week old... If I am wrong in my thinking, I opologize for my post...

Gregg, the one with the lot of carrot tail is 12 days old and the other is about 20 days old. I will put update on them later when they are bigger to show you that they have been properly taken care of. I also remind you that I feed only mealworms and many times takes the hatchling about 1 week just to start feeding, they do not have the same response to mealworms as they do with cricks when they are hatchling, I am sure you know that considering your experience, but when they start then they never stop and grow much faster, this is from what I have experienced through out my years of breeding. If you are not patience with the hatchlings they will not eat mealworms right the way and you end up feeding them cricks.
I absolutely understand your concern, but I guarantee you have nothing to worry about, those animals will be breeding next year and they will be nice and fat, ;)

:main_thumbsup: I opologize fully for my post Alberto... In my haste to point out what I thought was a flaw I forgot to compliment you on the beautiful hatchlings...
As usual, they are stunning....

I normally start my picky eater hatchlings off on crickets because of the same thing you mentioned... So, yeah I know what you are talking about...

Again, sorry if my post offended you in any way...

once again, very cool looking stuff Alberto! Do you have an update picture of that strange looking Mack Snow het Raptor that you showed me when I was over in NY? It was quite small and very black at the time and was in your baby rack at your old place.

this was last year and honestly I do not remember which one it was. Maybe I sold that one, lol.

no need for apologies, as I said I understand your concern, and I do feel the same as you when I see pencil thin tails on leopard geckos.
Thanks for the compliments.
