Some HOT Daytona pick-ups

Well i finally got around to taking a couple quick pics. I picked up these 2 boys in Daytona and i'm soooo thrilled with them. They're not the best pics but didn't want to disturb them to much since they had a very stressfull week.

Tangerine Tornado male..a bit thin but i'll fatten him up in no time.

and a RADAR male! Was only a very few at the show, can't believe i got him but happy i did. Now i'm REALLY excited about next season.

wow those are amazing.... but i have a Leopard thats a bit on the skinny side. what your secret to fattening them up?

I'm just gonna feed everyday till he puts on some weight. I use gutloaded supers and crickets. His appetite seems to be strong, so he'll put weight on quick. Some people use waxworms and pinks but i don't think its necessary.

They're sweeet gecko's, I love the Radars! Ya I agree mealies/Supers can do it alone. What really is key- Gutloading & everyday feedings. You can use waxworms and/or pinks too. I use them if I need some fat on my gecko's quick, so as needed. Also I coat their food w. calcium powder w. D3 and No phophorus. I think pinks/waxworms saved a gecko or 2 in the past. I keep Mealies, Waxworms, Supers, & pinks. I use my best judgement on what food to offer them, but always mealies or supers. Mine eat what they want! Sometimes a gecko will refuse the food they were eating before for the new "treat food" Often they will switch back when they put the wieght on. I keep feeding them what they're eat & keep offering them mealies at times too. Seems they know what they need. Then I've had a couple I've thought why did I just offer her a waxworm, she doesn't need it, she didn't eat it. Some my gecko's w. the biggest, plumpiest tails, and keep through breeding have only eaten mealies. So not necessary always, I think they're different and depends how fast you need the wieght on.

No i only saw 2 actual radars and i think A&M had a couple Mack Radars, if there were any more i didn't see them.
