These guys may be small but they pack a punch and have big attitudes. We have been working with them for about a year now and have 2.2 and hoping for some eggs soon.

I got some feeding pix of them the other night and will try and post them soon. they sure like their dubia nymphs.

Nice Homopholis Zach...they are certainly a genus slept on by most. Get ready for a lengthy incubation...

Ya I like the snout too. They were not on our "list" of things to get but. we walked in to EBV one day to get some Aussie velvet gecko species and maybe a fasciata but when they brought out the castlenoui I noticed it had fairly good kink in its spine more of like a curve S upon farther examination. so we didn't get him but we did find out that they had more of these fasciata and we grabbed them up 2.2 LTC for $100.00.

They have been doing great ever since.

They remind me of little teeny dragons,, just add wings.:main_laugh:

How long we talking about, any tips Harold?

I don't personally work with the species, but know a few people that do. Last time I heard, 6 months or more is what you should expect in terms of incubation time. Count yourself lucky though, with the H. wahlbergi I keep, incubation length can be from 6 months to over 12 months (should be breeding this year). There's not alot of people with F1's, so you should try nailing down their incubation and get some young on the ground...

Thanks Harold. don't mind waiting as long as they hatch. I'll have plenty of other little things hatching out to keep me occupied wile I wait.

Any info on inc temps or ratio of inc medium or should I go with the no substrate incubation and sit them in a cradle over water.

Neat looking little gecko. So are the nasty like blizzards or tokays? Ive been wanting to get a side project. Ive bred panther chameleons, veiled chameleons, and bearded dragons. Now I want to add another along with my leopards. i might have to look into them.

No eggs yet. and I am looking for some more. yes they are a little evil. big personality in a little package. I don't handle them too much if at all. But I have noticed that they have calmed down since I got them a couple years ago. when I first got them the guy at EBV was trying to deli cup them but couldn't close the lid because it wouldn't let go of his finger.
