Tokays kinda look like, if they had higher thoughts, those thougts would run, "If only I were the size of a dimetrodon, Oh Yes, we would see who the supreme species really is..." I think it's awesome that they can be handled and stuff, I don't think I'm that talented. Kudos to Jason. They have this almost Felix the Cat sorta look about them...

Haha yeah Tokays are nuts. I swear they're plotting something for me one of these days, and i'm starting to think that the female is pulling the strings making me think she's sweet or something lol. At least the male lets you know what you're getting into w/all the barking and biting lol. They really are a fascinating creature to have, very aware of what's going on & so acrobatic. They still catch me off guard on occasion, in fact when i was taking those pics out of nowhere the female lept off of my shoulder, onto my bedroom wall & got behind my entertainment center...that was a pain to get her out of, everytime i tried to reach for her she would back up a little more. The coolest thing to see is when they're hunting, they're soooo fast the crickets never see it coming.

Just like the other people said, your dog is adorable. Looks like the same expression I'd get from my dog if I put some geckos on him. And your tokays are gorgeous. I'd be photographing them all the time if I had some.
Now I have a question for you since this came up in another thread and no one really knew the answer: Does their skin tear easily?

i've heard that but haven't seen any evidence to support it. i mean, i wouldn't put anything rough up against their skin but it doesn't seem very different from a leos really.
