I truely do not understand how that last female is a "Tornado Glow" . Even if all those geckos are purchased from TUG, and are 100% het Tremper... In order for the last one to BE a glow... It MUST be albino...

No, you couldnt call it a new morph. The difference is that the Tornadoes have been selectively bred for many generations to achieve their disctinct look. Thats how a line is made, is something that take many years of work and also stands out from the other lines and have a specific ancestry/bloodline. Even if you have an insanely red gecko, you could never call it a Tornado because it doesnt descend from Tornado bloodline. Also if you cross a Tornado to a SHTCT, the offpsrings coulnt be called Tornado either, they would be called SHTCT Tornado Cross because BOTH parents need to be Tornadoes to produce Tornadoes.

Mmm...kind of? First you said that they've been selectively bred for a "distinct look," but then you said you could have a leo that looks the same as they do, and it still wouldn't be a tornado. So I guess my confusion lies in whether or not there's anything different about them from others except their origin, which was my original question.

Tangerine Tornadoes ARE SHTCTB's it is the Urban Gecko's line of them. Selectively bred for the Best Colour. But other than origin, and bloodline, a 'Tangerine Tornado' IS a line bred Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail Baldy. It is just that.

Thank you for explaining. I was trying to figure out how a Tornado and a SHTCTB with darker, more red coloring were different, but they are the same thing minus the proper bloodline.

Here is an enormous female I used to have... She was from a TUG Tornado x SHTCTB.

So she is NOT a "Tornado" , but a Tornado Cross.

Ok, that helps. I have a very dark SHTCTB with reddish coloring to him, so I was getting confused with the Tornado's being SHTCTB, but being called Tornado's but I think I understand now, my guy looks just like a tornado though:

OK... Then is is you who is confused. TUG SUNglows are NOT Tornadoes. A TORNADO GLOW is a TUG SUNGLOW (albino)TORNADO... And unless that last female is an albino.... it is not a "TORNADO GLOW"..
