He is so cute. Reminds me of a tortoiseshell cat!
Weird! This is one of my latest hatchlings. He shows signs of enigma syndrome, but he doesn't look like an enigma! They're supposed to have white tails and blotches instead of stripes. I don't have much experience with this, does anyone know if this is an enigma? His colors are very bright, but he circles when he gets excited and has terrible balance. I'm pretty worried about him. Oh, and he is very small, too. He was only 2 g when hatched.

I just wanted to give a quick update on my little enigma baby. I still don't know if it IS enigma, or just retarded, but he is doing surprisingly well. I named him Dizzy. He can follow and catch his own food successfully, and gets around quite well. He will run in spastic circles if he gets scared or surprised, so I try to keep it all calm. And he will often turn his head all the way around till his nose touches his back, when he gets excited (like when I toss in a cricket). But he straightens out quickly and is able to catch his dinner pretty well. Here is a new pic. He is about 2.5 weeks old. This is one of my latest hatchlings.
