They are about 2-3 months old but their dark (hatchling?) bands are still very prominent. This is my first time breeding leos and I am wondering when does the bandings fades? both parents are SHCT(B) :main_huh:

However the carrot tails colors are already obvious~ one looks like probably a 70% and another 50%~ :p must nicer than daddy which has only 20% carrots~ :main_laugh:

I guess the bigger hatchlings are slowly losing their hatchling bandings? They still have dark spots in the middle as you can see from the photos...

I got two babies which are specials ;) Both of which are at the right side of the photo. One hatchling lost quite a bit of its own tail on the 2nd day of its hatch (i guess it got stress or the first shed did not come clean and it bit it off :( ... anyone experience this before?) The 2nd one has a deformed tail that is twisted... it can't straighten it... I shall call it twirlie :main_yes:

the larger of the first group should fade to atleast the amount of the second, but remember that SHTCTB are line bred and vary in quality even amoung clutchmates.

Thanks for the compliments~ :)

The hatchlings are actually more gutsy than their mums~! They love to lick my fingers and walk onto my palm! (the daddy climbs on everyone while the females don't love to be handled!)
